Best Yangyang Build

Yangyang is a versatile 4-star Aero Sword wielder who excels as a Support in endgame content. While her damage output is lower compared to other Hybrids, she offers valuable support capabilities. Her Outro skill generates 20 Resonance Energy over 5 seconds for the next character, and her Ultimate and Resonance Skill provide crowd control (CC) and monster gathering abilities.

Her Forte Gauge, which can hold up to 3 charges, enhances her Mid-Air attack to generate significant Concerto Energy. The best generators for her Forte Gauge are her Resonance Skill and Intro Skill, followed by Heavy Attack and her 4th Basic Attack. Mastery of her Swap-Cancel technique is crucial for efficient and safe gameplay.

Yangyang's Resonance Skill and Ultimate both create CC effects and regenerate Concerto Energy. Her quick Concerto Rotation allows other characters to have more field time, benefiting from her Outro skill’s Resonance Energy generation.

Her preferred equipment set includes the Bell-Borne Geochelone Echo and 5P Rejuvenating Glow, which provide substantial buffs and protection. Alternatively, the 5P Moonlit Glow and Impermanence Heron Echo combo can be used if another character is using the preferred set.

Overall, Yangyang is effective in the Tower of Adversary as a Support, particularly in teams that benefit from her quick-swapping capabilities and CC effects.

Bell-Borne Geochelone is the best Echo if you are going to use Yangyang as a support unit. Of course, with the turtle, you should go for the 5-piece Rejuvenating Glow set.

For Hybrid role you can use 5-piece Moonlit Clouds withImpermanence Heron.

Substats: Crit Rate / Crit DMG → ATK% → ATK → Liberation DMG → Basic DMG

Support Rotation: 

• Use Yangyang Resonance skill immediately when available, unless it disrupts another character's burst combo or cooldowns. 
• Activate her Ultimate as often as possible, unless you need to gather enemies at a specific moment. 
• Use Yangyang Echo skill strategically: with Bell-Borne for burst combos or with Impermanence Heron to buff core damage dealers via her Outro. 
• Utilize her Forte Gauge charges for an Aerial plunge to generate significant Concerto energy, and switch cancel to protect her during the animation and save field time. If needed, build additional Forte Gauge charges with Heavy or full Basic Attacks to quickly trigger her Concerto gauge.

Best Hybrid Weapon for Yangyang

Emerald of Genesis is definitely the best choice. It offers a lot of benefits: a fully functional passive ability, high base ATK, crit rate and crucial Energy Recharge. Lumingloss S1 / Commando of Conviction S1 / Lunar Cutter S1 / Sword #18 S1 - all suit the character well and are nearly equal in power. Choose based on your gameplay style, the sword's passive abilities, and its availability.
