The most powerful mix is considered to be 2-piece Sierra Gala with 2-piece Lingering Tunes. If you have low Energy Recharge, you can go for 2-piece Sierra Gala with 2-piece Moonlit Clouds.

4* Autumntrace is the top 4-star choice for all claymore users. It boosts critical chance, which is essential for balancing stats, and features an easily stackable ATK% passive. A costly option since it can only be obtained through the Battle Pass, but at S3 it will provide power nearly equivalent to a five-star standard claymore.

4* Helios Cleaver is a good option that will give the character a good ATK base. It is advisable to have as many S as possible. For a budget alternative, you can consider using R5 Broadblade#41 (which is easier to obtain since it's craftable). Aalto provides a solid support role for Jiyan, offering a significant 23% Aero DMG Deepen buff that boosts Jiyan's burst potential similarly to Mortefi's Heavy Deepen bonus. However, Aalto lacks other damage synergies with Jiyan and has a longer rotation, requiring positional adjustments around his Gates, making him slightly more challenging to play compared to Mortefi. Nonetheless, Aalto serves as a viable substitute if Mortefi isn't available or preferred.
